  Arturo "Il Guerriero" Vidal, a 33-year-old Chilean accomplished midfielder who has never lost the hope of a Champions league trophy. Even to this day, he joined Barça in 2018 and now, he looks on to find it elsewhere...

  Once regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world, a player that shows the epitome of versatility. Vidal has won almost all there is to win both at the the national and club level, but his search for the champions league trophy had never ceased.

  He was one of the key team players that led Juventus to the Champions league final, however, they were defeated in the final by FC Barcelona. He moved to Bayern Munich, in pursue of his dream trophy, reduction in game time led to his exit. And the Barça story began.

  Perhaps, his time at Barça weren't the most successful, and there are some who criticizes his signing. However, his physicality should be undoubted, at 33, he was still running the length of the field, he added a lot to Barça.
  At Barça, or anywhere else, he is a leader on the field, he added intensity and didn't get injured for once in his 2 years stay at the club. A leader, with a great mentality, before the last game of the 2019/20 season against Bayern Munich (his former club), he said what others couldn't say, he believed till the end, even when there was little to no hope...

  He leaves, never forget him, never criticize him instead criticize the board, he gave the culés joys, even when the season was bound to be disastrous. A legend forever and always...

  Saturday comes the toughest match so far for Barça, the club have produced brilliant performances this season but have lacked consistency. No sole individual is to blame, no one expected this season to be bread and butter happiness. Barça and Ronald Koeman will be looking to make a big statement, a win against Atletico Madrid will be that.   At Thursday's training session, three players were rested by Koeman namely, Messi, Pjanic and de Jong.
